Jennifer has a Master's Degree in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology. She also holds Certification from ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) in Administration Elementary Education, Teaching: Elementary Education, Teaching: Bible all Ages, Preschool: Director, and Preschool: Teaching. She is also cleared with the Department of Social Services to be a Preschool Director and Preschool Teacher. Jennifer also serves as a District Chair for ACSI's Early Education Preschool Directors.

Teacher Rosie has worked with kids for 14 years, and has taught at the preschool since 1996. Rosie says, "I like working with kids because I love children. For me, being a childhood educator is a gift that I have received from God. When I am working with a child, it gives me the privilege to be a part of their academic and spiritual growth. Another reason I like working with kids is that while they learn from me I learn from them. I think it is awesome how honest they are. They will tell you straight out things that sometimes you don't want to hear, like 'do you have a baby in your tummy?'. Finally, I don't just like working with kids, I enjoy it greatly." Position: Assistant Director/ Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Teacher Irma has taught Sunday school for 18 years. She has worked with kids for 4 years, and has been at Kirkwood since 2006. Irma says, "I enjoy working with children. It allows me to make their first year of school a memorable one. I want to be one of those people in their lives that have made a positive difference. Being around them also reminds me what it is like to be a child, because as adults we seem to forget." Her favorite verse is Phillipians 4:13, "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

Teacher Michelle has her A.A. Degree. She is also working on her B.A. in Liberal Studies. Teacher Michelle has worked with kids for the past 7 years, and has been at the preschool since 2006. She loves working with kids because they are full of joy, and they bring joy to those around them. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Teacher Erika has worked with kids for 7 years, and has worked at Kirkwood since 2005. "It is my ultimate pride and joy to work with young children because they are our next generation and future leaders. It is my duty as a teacher to have my students succeed, and I am very happy to be a major part of their education." Teacher Judy has been working with kids at the preschool since 1992. She loves teaching them and they are fun to be with. She wants them to know about Jesus. Teacher Jessica has worked at the preschool since 2001. She likes working with kids because in some small way she feels like she is making the world a better place. She truly loves working with kids. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Teacher Cathy has worked with children for 21 years, and has worked with the preschool since 1998. Teacher Cathy says, "Children are our future and are a great example of God's unblemished love." Her favorite verse is Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord.

Teacher Debbie has worked with children for 20 years, and has worked with Kirkwood off and on for 16 years. She has her A.A. in Child Development. Teacher Debbie says, "I believed I was called by God to be in full-time ministry with children. I love to see the joy on their faces and their eyes light up when they learn something new." Teacher Lissette has worked with kids for 16 years, and has been with the preschool since 2007. Teacher Lissette says, "I love to work with children. Working with them gives me the opportunity to share what the Lord put in my heart for them, which is love, tenderness, understanding, care, teaching and encouraging them towards success in learning. The Bible says that Jesus was loving, kind and that he cared about us. I think as Christian teachers, the most important things that we teach our children are love and respect for one another, and kindness so they can learn and grow with the best pattern in life through Jesus Christ."

Teacher Pam has worked with children for 21 years, and has been with the preschool since 2006. She loves working with children because she loves to see them smile and see the twinkle in their eyes when they have mastered the concept. The children are loving. Mr. Constantin has a B.A. in Psychology. He has been working at the elementary school since 2005. Mr. Constantin says, "It is amazing to see what these kids are capable of. God has made each one unique and special in His eyes. They make me smile and laugh with the things they say and do." Miss Sheree has been working at the elementary school since 2007. She loves working with kids because they have so much love to give without you havingto ask for it. They love life and just have so much energy to keep you going, when your down they can bring you up by just giving you a hug, or saying "I love you teacher." Her favorite verse is Isaiah 43:1, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name, you are mine."

Mr. Joel got his B.A. at California Baptist College. He has been working with kids for 6 years. He has been at Kirkwood since 2003. Miss Ruby has her B.A. in Media Studies. She has worked at the elementary school since 2007. She says that each and every student here at Kirkwood has blessed her heart. From Monday through Friday I am a mother, a doctor, a judge, a counselor, and a psychologist."

Mrs. Jacky has her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and her teaching credential. She has worked with children for 4 years, and has been with the elementary school since 2006. God has placed in her heart a passion to help students succeed. She enjoys creating fun and innovative activities that help the students learn and have fun at the same time. She loves observing students' progress and positive behavior, which is a result of feeling good about themselves and their academic accomplishments. Her students bring joy to her life.
